Her Story
She is elderly. She lives alone, with no family to call upon, no one to sit beside her when she is unwell, and no one to help her with the small daily expenses that the rest of us take for granted.
A few months ago, she underwent eye surgery. Before she could fully recover, she slipped and fractured her leg. She is in a great deal of pain and is managing entirely on her own.
Her monthly medical expenses come to approximately ₹2,000. It is not a large amount — but for her, it is everything.
